Anything less than a win for the Orange Army would overshadow their inaugural pre-season merit of a tired place finish in the Maryland SoccerPlex Men’s Open.

Player of the Week

‘Cris’ picked up the player of the match award in the 8-2 destruction of Average juanas. In his first match back after a 5-week injury, Paiz got on the scoresheet four times and looked dangerous throughout.

The match began with a bright spark for street footie, as a strike in the twenty-seventh second by the player of the week Piaz deflected off the defender and landed in the back of the net, making it the fasted goal in club history. street footie Football Club came on in the second half similarly and never took the foot off the gas; It was a match with an essence of flair and composure, none afraid to display their talents, and a dribbling fiesta on occasions. A lot of the football shown by the new boys in town is something we might have been expecting early in the season. Nevertheless, a decent inaugural campaign for street footie as they conclude the season with an 8-2 victory.
