street footie FC marked the end of its first tryout session held at the Wheaton Sports Pavillion this past Mother’s Day Sunday afternoon.
Good talent was on show as a turnout of 30 regional and local players attended the tryout. The coaching staff was pleased with the level and standard of play.
“There is definitely enough talent here to challenge for a top-three finish in the league,” said club manager Nelson Mwanza. “There is a lot of work left to do to turn this talented group into a team.”
Future Steps
street footie FC is inviting ALL players who participated in and/or registered for the session on 5/8/2022 to an additional free ($0) training session. No registration is required.
Session 2: Wheaton Sports Pavilion, Thursday 5/12/2022 @ 10 PM – 12 Midnight.
street footie FC is set to make its competitive debut in the Mason-Dixon Soccer League this Sunday, May 15th.
