The Maryland Super Soccer League (MSSL) is back in full swing on Sunday, March 26. The 2022 Fall MSSL season lived up to its billing, emerging as the most exciting league to watch in the state, and the spring 2023 exhibition promises an even more compelling watch.
The MSSL carries the guard of hosting three winners of the 2023 edition for the most prestigious competitions in the state. Rowland Cup, Stewart Cup, Morton Cup.
The First Division boasts the caliber of clubs that have gone on to secure the 2023 Rowland Cup and the 2023 Stewart Cup.
Christos bypassed the newly acquired Maryland Bobcats side Steel Pulse in the final to claim the 2023 Rowland Cup, while Sure Sports Claimed the 2023 Stewart Cup.
Christos (9W – 0L – 1D) won the Fall 2022 MSSL D1 regular season, while fourth-place finisher Sure Sports (5W – 3L -1D) claimed the post-season Playoff Championship.
Faced with relegation, Hearts of Steel (1W – 6L – 2D) opted to drop out of the competition entirely.
Elite Vision (10W – 1L – 2D) and Team United (7W – 2D – 1L) are the newly promoted MSSL D1 teams, increasing the first-division tally to eleven.

MSSL Division Two
The Maryland Super Soccer League Second Division Two is not shy to state dominance, with last season’s third-place finisher Das Bierhalle (7W – 1L – 2D) claiming the 2023 Morton Cup to house the competition trophy for a second year running. For the MSSL D2 spring season, eight exciting clubs, rich in heritage and newcomers, will suit up for a chance at being crowned champions and gaining automatic promotion or a top-five finish to earn a stake in Maryland Super Soccer League Division 1.
Elit Vision (10W – 1L – 2D) and Team United (7W – 2D – 1L) are the newly promoted MSSL D1 teams, increasing the first division tally to eleven.
Lions FC (2W – 7L – 1D) and LAI FC (0W – 7L – 3D) have dropped out of MSSL D2.
Fredrick Skyline and Heartland S.G. join the MSSL D2 to bring the season tally to eight clubs.
A3 Highlanders
