The street footie camp is abuzz with the announcement of two familiar faces joining the squad for the 2023 Rowland Cup. We are proud to announce that Melvin Cabrera and JC Martinez will play for street footie FC in the 2023 Rowland Cup.
“We’ve looked to experience to help us have a fighting chance in the cup. These are boys that have been with us in the past, so we know what they are capable of,” said Club Manager Nelson Mwanza.
Melvin Cabrera
Cabrera left street footie FC in Spring 2022 for Christos FC, where he won the MSSL D1 Championship. Previously with street footie FC, Cabrera scored 5 league goals and assisted 2 more in just 5 appearances. street footie FC will look to use his skill and experience this coming cup round.
JC Martinez
The Venezuelan left-back featured prominently in some of street footie’s crucial wins. Martinez has sighted rallying street footie FC players on social media by commenting on the club’s post.
