street footie faces Team United in Sunday’s Maryland Super Soccer League D2 league action.

The orange army will be aiming to improve their record when they travel to Moose Athletic Center to face Team United this weekend.

The orange army has displayed some of the best football this season. However, they have had an upheaval season, with only three points out of 21, and the points acquired paint a partial picture of a team of this caliber.

Team United

Being one of the best teams is not a surprise considering their quality. Team United will enter the game full of confidence with an emphatic 5-0 win against Lions FC last weekend. However, while they sit comfortably in third place with 14 points after seven weeks, it would be ill-advised to disregard this match-up against the boys in orange. Given that they have to win out for a chance of promotion, this will undoubtedly be in contention for match of the week.

Tuesday’s preliminary lineup by Zambian-born Manager Nelson Mwanza says everything about this game’s importance. He emphasized the importance of this game with this comment “Every game is important. We must continue to fight to show our pride from now until the end of the season. street footie deserves a place in this league, and this is the time to show our passion for the game.”

Player to watch: Enass Belkhair

Enass continued his excellent start by adding another goal to his tally, making it four goals in 3 league games for the boys in orange. He is on a hot streak with scoring goals, and we can be sure to see him score a goal or two this weekend.
