As a parent associated with street footie Football Club, you play a crucial role in fostering a positive and supportive environment for our players to perform at their best.

Our Parent Code of Conduct outlines the principles and expectations guiding your behavior during practices, matches, and team-related events.

To ensure a fun, safe, and memorable experience for everyone, we kindly ask all parents to adhere to the following Code of Conduct.

On the Sidelines

Respect for All

Discrimination, harassment, or any form of hate speech based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or any other status is strictly prohibited.

Every individual attending the match has the right to enjoy it in a safe environment free from threats, discrimination, or violence.

  • Treat everyone associated with street footie Football Club respectfully, including players, coaches, opponents, and fellow parents
  • Avoid discriminatory language and behavior, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere

Officials and Referees

  • Accept decisions made by referees and officials without dissent or abuse
  • Address concerns through appropriate channels rather than disputing decisions during matches

Positive Support and Representation

At street footie, we want to foster and support a positive team culture on and off the field. 

Please be mindful of your actions and words as they reflect on the entire team.

  • Encourage and cheer for street footie FC in a positive manner
  • Refrain from using foul language, making obscene gestures, or partaking in any behavior that could offend others
  • Respect the decisions of match officials even if you disagree with their decisions

Understand Roles

Understand the importance of the roles of coaches, players, and officials.

Support the coaching staff’s decisions and refrain from coaching from the sidelines.

Communication

  • Communicate openly and respectfully with coaches, staff, and other parents. Address concerns or questions through appropriate channels
  • Encourage positive communication between parents and players, fostering a sense of community

Safety First

  • Do not enter the field of play, the technical areas, or any restricted zones
  • Follow all stadium/field/park rules and adhere to event staff, security, and local law enforcement directions
  • Weapons, fireworks, or any items that could harm others are strictly prohibited

Alcohol and Drugs

Consumption of alcohol, drugs, or any illegal substances is strictly prohibited.

Respect for Facilities

  • Do not deface, damage, or litter the field/stadium or surrounding areas
  • Use waste bins and recycling containers as appropriate

Follow League and Club Policies

  • Abide by all additional street footie FC and all league/cup/tournament regulations and policies
  • Unauthorized promotions, marketing, or solicitation inside the stadium is not allowed

Report Concerns

  • If you witness or experience any form of misconduct, please report it immediately to event staff
  • Your safety and the well-being of all attendees is our top priority

Off the Field

Conflict Resolution

If conflicts arise, seek resolution through open communication and collaboration.

  • Avoid engaging in disruptive behavior or spreading negativity
  • Contribute to a harmonious environment that promotes the well-being and development of all players

Social Media

Exercise responsibility when using social media.

  • Avoid posting content that may harm the team’s reputation or violate the privacy of individuals
  • Promote a positive online presence that reflects the values of street footie Football Club

Supporter Engagement

At street footie, we encourage you, the parents, to be actively involved and supportive of your child’s soccer experience.

  • Attend matches, practices, and team events when possible
  • Encourage your child to embrace the values of teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship
  • street footie FC values involvement in community service and outreach

Parents who fail to adhere to this Code of Conduct may be subject to sanctions, including removal from the facility, bans from future events, and possible legal actions.

Together, we can create an incredible atmosphere showcasing our community’s best.
