Jared Obispo made his mark as early as the 3rd minute, netting the game’s opener with a sublime left-foot finish. It was a moment of history, making it the fastest goal in street footie FC history. It was a record previously held by Flávio Hastenreter (March 26, 2023 vs. Frederick Skyline). Obispos’s goal is also the fastest on record in UPSL Northeast thus far this season.
Riding high on confidence and dictating play, Flávio Hastenreter doubled street footie’s lead in the 20th minute with a brilliant strike, leaving the Frederick Kings’ defense stunned. With street footie in the driver’s seat, the day would take a deem twist. Frederick Kings afforded a lifeline in the 27th minute with the scoreline reading 2-1 in favor of street footie at the break.
