street footie Football Club is excited to announce our first delve into youth soccer with street footie FC Montrose Men’s Under-18s squad.
"It has always been the club's long-term goal to find young local talent and develop their skills to play at the UPSL level or higher.
We aim to nurture an environment built to develop quality, technically, physically, and mentally fit players that would be ready to perform at the first team level."
Building for the Future
In our Summer 2023 Preseason, we took on and introduced 8 local U-18 players, with a median age of 16, into the first team’s summer training.
The boys impressed the first-team coaching staff with their adaptability and drive to compete against senior players and now make up the foundation and core of the upcoming street footie Montrose squad.
Upcoming Preparations and Tryouts
The Montrose U-18 squad is set to take the field and participate in competitive leagues and tournaments starting in Spring 2024.
