The orange army will aim to improve their record when they travel to Rockburn Branch Park to face Inter EC this Friday. This game being the first-ever meeting between these sides, the Orange Army must establish dominance from the blow of the whistle. A victory away from home could see street footie climb up in points and are ready to showcase their talents again.
One concern for the lads will be their upcoming Sunday’s game in the MSSL against another strong opponent, Baltimore Kickers. With most starters rested for this match-up against Inter EC, the remaining squad members must step into this game ready to take the mantle and bring home a well-deserved win.
The visitors will likely put plenty of men behind the ball on Friday. They will look to make life difficult for the boys in Orange, but despite that, we have more than enough firepower and quality up top to cause real problems.
It won’t be easy, but we will beat Inter EC, albeit it will be a close contest. In many respects, an early goal from the lads could go a long way to deciding this one. It would force the opponent to play out from the back, leaving holes at the back that Enass and Jared can exploit.
It is safe to say the Orange Army will continue to demonstrate such abilities throughout the spring season of both the Howard County League and MSSL.
Player to watch: Enass Belkhair
Enass has been nothing short of excellent since joining the orange army. He continued his knack for goal-scoring last Sunday when he buried a well-placed pass from Mosh in a 5-2 win against Frederick Skyline for the Orange Army. Under the tutelage of Manager Nelson Mwanza, the orange army will be well on their way to seeing another great game from this natural goal-hungry striker.
