Quite a preseason so far
It has been quite a successful preseason tour for the Orange Army, with four games under their belt thus far. It has been a complete revamp of the team from last season to date. Newly acquired players have bolstered the teams’ playing style and completely changed the culture. It remains to see how the boys in orange will perform when they take to the field to face an unfamiliar foe in Cosmos FC USA.
The talk is over
Much talk has gone into setting up this scrimmage, and we hope to see an excellent game this weekend. The weather on match day looks warm, with daytime temperatures of 91 degrees, which should make for a nice but extenuating day for football. All that is left now is for the whistle to blow, and as Manager Nelson Mwanza said, “We have seen a lot of positives from this week’s training, and we see the improvements day in and out. We still have a lot of work to do, and we will do it together as a team. We must play as one solid unit by playing for the name on the crest and see the name on your back rise to glory.”
